What is the Friends of Airedale lottery?

Win £25,000 whilst helping us to invest in the local hospital where your family and friends are treated by playing our new lottery. Tickets cost £1. 50p from each ticket is is given to Friends of Airedale. We buy those things that the NHS doesn’t fund to improve the patient experience. If 2,000 people sign up to a weekly ticket, then we can buy new equipment worth £50,000.

How does it work?

You can register online or fill in a postal application form. You indicate how many entries you want each week and for how many weeks. You can set up a direct debit for recurring entries.

You are then allocated one or more personal 6 digit numbers depending on the number of weekly entries you have signed up for.

The draw takes place weekly. The results are posted online. If there is a match, you will be contacted and the money paid to you.

How are the proceeds from the lottery broken down?

A minimum of 50% of the total lottery proceeds are spent on supporting the work carried out by Friends of Airedale, 18.4% on prizes and 31.6% on the running cost and administration of the lottery.
