When Friends of Airedale were approached to donate fifteen variable heights cots to the maternity unit they were very happy to help. The cots which were donated last year are adjustable height and are designed to promote safe sleeping and enhance the bond between mother and baby.  Here’s our volunteer John Lofthouse having a look at one of the cots with Clare Stowell the Ward Manager. 

 … to the fantastic Co-op Community Fund who presented Friends Chairman John Lofthouse with a cheque for £7,536.90 when he visited the store at Steeton last week.  Thank you for your support 

Our wonderful volunteers were presented with their long service awards at the recent AGM. Here’s a group photo of some of the recipients. Certificates and badges were awarded for 5, 10, 15 and 20 years service and all presented by Brendan Brown, Chief Executive of Airedale Hospital.
